I had mentioned it prior, but the wood floor in the back looks great. I had not permanently affixed it into the van yet due to wanting to soundproof the floor. Well now that is done, did it a last night.
After first prepping the floor with a bit of simple green to clean it, then the three or four spots of rust with the spot blaster, real good clean up with the blow gun, a bit of pre paint cleaner, some epoxy primer and a blast of spraybomb paint, I allowed to cure overnight and then got to work on the sound deadener. Today will be the permanent affixing of the floor. Even though it is a tongue and groove 3/4 inch hardwood, I will dab a spot of liquid nails every other board to add some extra strength. This tied in with the edging strip along the door opening and a 1/4 round moulding around the perimeter, it should be solid, able to withstand some wear and keep it quieter. More pictures later.
