This random collection of thoughts is based around the rebuilding and use of our 1984 Volkswagen Westfalia camper. Maybe someone may gain an insight or two, a laugh or (Heaven forbid) the desire to own one of these vehicles.

Forgot
I forgot to wish my van a Happy Birthday.
In August the Thingamajigger turned 30 years old. She was manufactured in August 1983.
Happy Birthday Thingamajigger, you dont look a day over 20!
